Conference Proceedings

The proceedings for this conference will be published as "Carnegie Astrophysics Series, volume 5"; it will be published on-line only in the astro-ph archive. There will be a table of contents paper with the Carnegie Astrophysics volume logo indicating the page numbers, and a link to each contribution.

Here is the LaTeX class file, gwp80.cls, for producing a manuscript for the conference proceedings.

Here is an example manuscript LaTeX file, mcwilliam.tex.

Please contact me (andy@obs.carnegiescienc.edu) if you encounter problems producing your manuscript.

By doing this it will be possible to print out the entire proceedings in standard book form, but avoiding costly publication costs and the annoying situation where one has to pay for a copy of one's own conference proceedings.

We suggest a 20 page limit for each of the talk and poster write-ups.

We ask that authors do not submit a copy to astro-ph until we have had a chance to review each article for format and other editing issues. We would also like to provide you with the the page numbering that will appear in the final volume, and record numbers to link your paper to the main on-line volume.
